Say you've had an extended period of 'meh-ness' and a particularly frustrating week. Would you ever quit for the day just to be able to book a good and winning session? I'm wondering if the confidence boost and wanting to play the next day is > the EV of continued play. There is also the incredible tilt if I give it back later in that session. Thoughts?

I see merits in what you're saying. And even though I know "technically" i shouldn't...I have before and not regretted it (numerous times actually)

(sometimes booking a $2K winning day after only 1,000 hands then going out drinking > playing 4K hands and "seeing what happens imo")

we shouldn't but it the truth is it does help unless you're stone cold tilt free machine after going months of breakeven stretches/downswings.

This is how I've been playing the past two months with reaaaally good results, although I've only put in ~50K hands in May/June and 0 in July so far.
